The DVD "Glimpses of the Basque country" available in four languagesThe DVD "Glimpses of the Basque country", which proposes a social, economic and cultural journey to the heart of the Basque Country, has just been produced in four languages (Basque, French, Spanish and English). 
An original journey to the heart of the Basque Country "Glimpses of the Basque country" is a 10 minute video documentary produced in 2001, through which the Basque Cultural Institute wanted to make a short and dynamic document available to all audiences, showing the Basque Country from every angle as it is today. It repositions the Basque Country in a general context, covering more than just cultural aspects: geography, economy, history, etc. Key to understanding the Basque Country "Glimpses of the Basque country" also presents developments and contrasts in the Basque Country which all too often is subject to clichés. This document does not aim to be exhaustive and instead provides the viewer, who if he or she wishes can find out more, with key points. Today it is available on a single DVD aimed at different audiences: works councils, tourist offices, etc. It is on sale from the Basque Cultural Institute for 10 euros (excluding postage).
