In 1993 Amaia Riouspeyrous, from Anhaux, won the Kantu Txapelketa, enabling her to perform at various venues across the Basque Country. In 2008 she won first prize in the Tremplin France Bleu, Luna Negra and Agorila enabling her in June 2009, at the age of 25, to release her first album, and the fruit of a year's work, "Har Ezazu" (Take life as its comes ). Along with her musicians, she has concocted a "pop, folk, rock" album with a compilation of energetic 12 tracks.
