Joana Itzaina, Itsasun sortua 1981ean, ortofonista da Izpuran eta Kanbon bizi. "Bertsolarien Lagunak" elkarteko bazkide izaiteaz gain, Garaziko helduen bertso eskolako kidea eta sortzaileetariko bat da. Epaile gisa aritu baldin bada ere epe labur batez, gai-jartzaile eta gai-emaile lanetan dabil orain. 2009ko abuztuan eskaini zigun elkarrizketaren pasarte batzu hautatu ditugu.
Elkarrizketa hau egin geroztik, Joana Itzaina "Bertsolarien Lagunak" elkarteko lehendakari izendatua izan da.
